Busy Day for Issues Affecting Pike at County Board Meeting Tomorrow (4/21)

Lots of reasons to tune in tomorrow (or show up) at the County Board meeting for citizens interested in developments along Columbia Pike tomorrow:

1.  Use permit for the Salsa Room, staff recommends to approve.

2.  Use Permit for live entertainment and dancing at Pines of Italy.  This is pretty controversial with the Arlington Heights Civic Association.  Staff recommends deferring decision to December.

3.  Use Permit for live entertainment and dancing and for an outdoor cafe on a public easement at William Jeffrey’s Tavern.  Staff recommends approving the entertainment and putting off deciding on the sidewalk seating.  Where are they going to put the tables/chairs?

4.  Another discussion of the Rosenthal development.  Staff comments here.

5.  A no-brainer renewal of the Columbia Pike Farmers’ Market.

Meeting can be watched live on Arlington News (formerly AVN).
