Here Happy Hour visitors can rely on a pair of reds, a pair of whites and a sparkling wine from 5-7 weekdays at the bar at Twisted Vines. They also offer a few bar snacks for the same prices, along with a couple of bottled beers for $3.50. The bar does not appear to offer any spirits or draft beer, which makes sense as the place is a wine bar. Beware the cheap espresso machine and pre-ground coffee beans.
On the chalkboard you can also find some all-day specials, which presumably change seasonally or even nightly.
On a recent visit (October 2011), the Happy Hour line-up was as follows:
-Muscati, Brut Cava, Spain
-Campos de Luz, Viera Blend, Spain
-Pradio, Pinot Grigio, Italy
-Talamonti, Montepulciano, Italy
-Los Heretiques, Syrah Blend, France
-Oskar Blues, Mama’s Little Yella Pils
-Penn Brewery, Oktoberfest
-Brie & Herb Chevre Board
-Cows in a Blanket
(all of which were good)
The special board offered the following:
-Mulled wine, $8
-Virginia’s Annefield’s Chardonnay at $9, Meritage $10
-Foggy Ridge Cider, $10
Definitely a cool place, and a unique spot in the neighborhood.
